ARTICLEbtmb = 4,4 0 -bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)bipheny, H 3 BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, and H 2 NDC = 1,2-benzenedicarboxylic acid. The structures and topological analyses of these complexes, along with the influence of the ligands, metal atoms, and pH values on the structures of the MOFs are represented and discussed. The thermal and catalytic properties of these complexes have also been investigated.
' EXPERIMENTAL SECTIONMaterials and Characterization. All chemicals were commercially available and used as purchased. Ligand 4,4 0 -bis(1,2,4-triazol-1ylmethyl)biphenyl (btmb) was prepared according to the literature. 4c IR data were recorded on a BRUKER TENSOR 27 spectrophotometer with KBr pellets in the region 400À4000 cm À1 . Elemental analyses (C, H, and N) were carried out on a Flash EA 1112 elemental analyzer. Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) patterns were recorded using Cu KR1 radiation on a PANalytical X'Pert PRO diffractometer. Thermal analyses were performed on a Netzsch STA 449C thermal analyzer at the heating rate 10 °C 3 min À1 in air.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
