Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) is one of the most promising renewable energy technologies. A BIPV system as a second layer of building envelopes is useful not only for the electric power generation but also for blocking solar radiation to reduce cooling load. This study aimed to explore the limitations of the automated BPS of an adaptive BIPV case study that its development conducted through a collaboration of a BIM software, a BIM-integrated visual programming environment, and a cloud-based energy analysis. The possible obstacles to BIPV design processes and the potential solutions have been discussed.
This study focuses on reducing environmental impact by design and aim to inform the environmental information through product design to support user behavioural change. The objects are to analyse user attribute factors that affect to perception distinction of environmental information, consider environmental data contents and information designs that Influence to user behaviour and evaluating design principles. This research is an empirical research in the methodology used mixed methods. The results will expand the knowledge and theory of sustainable product design to emphasise on user behaviour change theory and the guidelines for daily life product design
This article attempts to present the process of preparing an analysis on differential Carbon Footprint of each furniture types according to their product life cycle. The case study on one type of furniture namely "Tables" is to assessment the environmental effect of the production process and the method of raw material selection in furniture manufacturing and by using carbon footprint is an indicator of its effect. By using different types of furniture and product grouping furniture to indicate and calculate the quantity of carbon footprint. During the study customer's perception in response to environmentally friendly products, the result is expected to be the quantity of carbon footprint could be classified into three levels, i.e. furniture with the high, the medium and the low level of carbon footprints.

According to the problems of excessive consumption of natural resources and the increasing trend of manufacturing across the globe at present, the need for transformation to sustainable consumption and sustainable production has been put on centre stage. One of the solutions to these problems is conducting business operations with the responsibility to the environment to reduce environmental impacts by changing consumption patterns relative to the consumers. This will lead to the business strategy in Product-Service Systems for furniture business under the concept of the Green Business Model to meet the consumers' needs. This research is, thus, a study of the behavioural trends of furniture usage, an analysis on environmental awareness of consumers in Thailand, and a search for the methods to provide services that will be accepted by the consumers to incentivize them in having sustainable consumption behaviours.
