Цель исследования -выявить лексические средства дискурсивного конструирования современных российско-кубинских отношений (c 2000 года по настоящее время) в содержании онлайнматериалов кубинского информационного агентства «Пренса Латина» (далее -"PL"). Новизна исследования заключается в том, что впервые и на основе комплексной методики проводится глубокий анализ дискурсивного конструирования нынешних российско-кубинских отношений, включающий методы дискурс-анализа и контент-анализа, что позволяет показать конструктивное видение отражения этих отношений в современных геополитических условиях. В результате было выявлено, что в материалах "PL" используются лексика и стилистические средства, отражающие стратегический характер текущих отношений между Кубой и Россией, но основанных на исторических связях дружбы.
The political arena in Cuba has had a direct impact on the development of the media throughout the country's history. Therefore, it is necessary to know the updated status of the Cuban media system in the last stage (2018-2019) nowadays. This article shows the main transformations of the Cuban media system, based on the analysis of the historical process experienced on the island since 1959. The current press model is classified based on the theoretical analysis of The Four Theories of the Press. The methodology used allowed us to carry out a study of 50 issues of the Granma newspaper - chosen for its great influence on the Cuban society, with a sample of 1031 news items on different topics. The analysis helped to determine that the content of the Cuban government media its core and main aims are used to spread the socialist ideas and concepts. Both the content analysis and the historical process revealed that the media in Cuba continues to be controlled by the Government and maintains its social character, which makes it possible to relate the current media system with the old Soviet press model, although the current scenario, marked by the access to Internet and the appearance of new independent digital media not recognized by the government, creates the bases for the conception of a socialist alternative to the social responsibility model.
The article presents a comparative analysis of the bilateral perception of the image of Russia and Cuba. The study based on a survey of citizens and analysis of publications of the media of Cuba and Russia. The purpose of the study is to explore the actual problem of the formation of the image of the country in a foreign socio-cultural and media spaces. The article applies an integrated systematic approach and the use of interdisciplinary methods and techniques. In the conclusion the actual opinions of the Cuban population about Russia and Russian citizens about Cuba is identified on basis of the carried out a social survey and detailed examination of the publications about these countries in the international media, as well as in the media of both countries. The results of this work can be used by the relevant agencies of both the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cuba to further strengthen the positive image of their country through the media.
The changes that have taken place in the work of Cuban news agencies during the digitalization of media production are analyzed. Over the past few years, they have been undergoing a process of transformation, changing their approaches to providing information and introducing new products. To study these processes, the authors resort to the digital platforms of two news agencies - Prensa Latina and Agencia Cubana de Noticias , as well as the online news portal Cubadebate . Comparative and analytical methods of research reveal the specific features of functioning of these media resources at the present moment. The authors conclude that despite the international isolation Cuba experienced for more than sixty years and relatively limited financial resources allocated for media development, the country's media market has entered a period of modernization. All the changes taking place will greatly expand the possibilities for integrating Cuban news agencies into global information processes.
