To save labor for form work and installation of reinforcement at construction site and to save wood resources , square shell concrete form (PCa − shell) was developed , The PCa − shell is made of high strength concrete 〔 Fc 窩 500 kgf/cmz)and contains hoops and tie bars . A column is made by putting the PCa − shell on main bars and then molding core concrete in it , So main bars of the column do not touch directly with lateral reinforcements . 正 nthis pape ら the shear − flexural structural experiments on cast − in − place reinforced concrete members using the PCa − shell (half − precast members) were described .
Pretest FE analyses were conducted to predict dynamic responses of six-story RC specimen in shaking table test. The pretest analyses satisfactorily predicted nonlinear response of the specimen at an excitation, in which the specimen reached its maximum capacity. However, for the excitations performed before the specimen had reached its maximum capacity, the pretest analyses tended to overestimate the displacement responses. Posttest analyses were conducted with input conditions and material properties measured in the test. Posttest analyses reproduced the test behavior from elastic point up to failure with improved accuracy. Furthermore, shear capacity of walls was investigated by analytical results.
