The chemical compositions of lithium micas in a pegmatite at Minagi, Okayama Prefecture, were studied. This pegmatite consists of five zones; (1) border zone, (2) biotite zone, (3) muscovite zone, (4) zinnwaldite zone and (4) lepidolite zone, arranged inwards successively. Each zone is characterized by their mineral assemblage, especially by the varieties of mica comprised in it.
Thermal and direct etching mechanisms of Si(100) with a hyperthermal chlorine beam J. Appl. Phys. 75, 3623 (1994); 10.1063/1.356074 Competition between directinelastic and trapping desorption channels in the scattering of NO (v=0, J) from Ir(111) J. Chem. Phys. 88, 6548 (1988); 10.1063/1.454441 Directinelastic and trappingdesorption scattering of NO(v=0,J) from Ir(111): Angular, velocity, and rotational energy distributionsThe interaction of Cl 2 molecules with the cesiated Si͑100͒ has been investigated by probing the dynamics of scattered Cl 2 molecules escaping from sticking. The observed time of flight distributions for the zero Cl coverage regime are ascribed to direct-inelastic scattering even for the very low incident energy of 0.058 eV. This fact suggests that the interaction potential of the Cl 2 molecules with the Cs-covered surface is repulsive up to the top of the barrier for sticking. An explanation in terms of Pauli repulsion is proposed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
