In this paper, we propose a Fast Frequency Hopping Post Detection Integrator (FFII-PDI) system, which uses path diversity comliination techniques. The delay spread present in multipath fading channels can be used to improve communication performance. This is possible as the delayed paths are resolved and path diversity combination is realised. Using this method is advantageous in combatting interference as the system adds the desired components and averages the interference components. The usefulness is confirmed by computer simulations.
