Background:The problem of impacted teeth is often asked by high school students. A student conselor must be provided with knowledge related to impacted teeth and their impact. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of student conselors about impacted teeth. Method: Questionnaires were distributed to 40 student conselors, before and after counseling, then the differences were analyzed using SPSS. Result: Based on statistical calculations, the p value of 0.000 (p <0.05) means that there was a significant difference between the knowledge of student conselors before and after counseling. Conclusion: there was a difference in tooth impaction knowledges between before counseling and after counseling PENDAHULUAN Gigi impaksi sering kita temukan dalam kedokteran gigi. Masyarakat pada umumnya memahami ada gigi geraham bungsu yang letaknya paling pojok rahang. Arti gigi impaksi adalah gigi yang mengalami gangguan pada proses tumbuh sempurna. Hal ini dapat disebabkan karena banyak factor, salah satunya adalah posisi benih yang abnormal, sehingga gigi saat erupsi tidak bisa sempurna karena malposisi. Berdasarkan distribusinya, gigi impaksi banyak ditemukan pada gigi molar ketiga dan lebih banyak pada perempuan daripa laki-laki. (Delsy T. Sahetapy, 2015). Gigi impaksi dapat terjadi pada semua usia, baik pada anak-anak maupun dewasa. Berdasarkan data didapatkan jumlah kasus masalah gigi di Indonesia mencapai 45,3% dan dari 45% tersebut, 14 % dengan keluhan gusi bengkak. (RISKESDAS, 2018) Salah satu penyebab gusi bengkak adalah infeksi pericoronitis akibat gigi impaksi. Masyarakat Indonesia masih banyak yang belum paham tentang gigi impaksi. Rata-rata mereka akan berobat apabila ada keluhan seperti nyeri, bengkak, sulit buka mulut dan sebagainya. Istilah gigi impaksi masih asing bagi masyarakat. Masyarakat belum banyak mengetahui dampak impaksi bagi kesehatan tubuh secara keseluruhan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penyuluhan ke berbagai kalangan masyarakat serta edukasi terkait gigi impaksi. Penyuluhan merupakan cara yang efektif untuk merubah perilaku suatu kelompok masyarakat. Penyuluhan mempunyai makna sebagai kegiatan mendidik sekelompok orang dengan memberikan pengetahuan, informasiinformasi dan berbagai kemampuan untuk membangun sikap dan perilaku hidup yang diinginkan oleh penyuluh. Background : Erythema multiforme is an acute mucocutaneous inflammation which is self limiting desease. One of caused of Erythema multiforme is Herpes Simplex Virus infection diagnosed as Herpes Associated Erytema Multiforme (HAEM). The psychosomatic patients should be wary of anti-depressant therapy, because if there is an allergy, it can trigger the occurrence of erthema multiformis. In this paper, we will reported HAEM case on psychosomatic patient.Case and management : A case of 23 years old female patient with chief complaint sore and pain lips since one weeks ago. The patient has been on anti-depressant therapy for one month. Clinical examination on patient showed that there were erosive lesion covered by reddish brown crusta, sloughing on the border between lips and labial mucosa, and bloody lips. The results of laboratory tests show positive HSV. Patient was diagnosed with HAEM. Therapy given to the patient was corticosteroid topical oitment, acyclovir and oral rinse antiseptics. After two weeks the administration, condition on the patient has improved.Conclusions : HAEM cases if treated properly can recover well. Trigger factors must be controlled so that not recurrance
