In the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 Regarding Competency Standards for Primary and Secondary Education Graduates, there is a skill dimension where one of the objectives is that students are expected to have critical thinking and acting skills with scientific skills. In implementing the Permendikbud, the government is fixing HOTS-based educational evaluation standards in every activity, both semester exams and national level exams for SMA and SMK equivalent. HOTS is high-level thinking by carrying out measurement tasks through steps of analyzing, evaluating and creating conceptual and procedural knowledge or metacognitive. Facts in the field based on the analysis show that students are still weak in higher order thinking skills (HOTS) and teachers have difficulty in designing and implementing HOTS-based evaluations. The purpose of this Community Service is to provide training in the preparation of HOTS-based evaluation tools in the learning process. The training and mentoring method is carried out with the in-service training pattern which is carried out in classical presentation, as well as the on-the-job learning pattern or independent mentoring at the training participants' assignments as the implementation of training held at SMKS Putra Padjdjaran 2, Bandung City. The output targets have been achieved, namely (1) an article entitled Making and Implementing HOTS-based Evaluation in Learning submitted to the Tri Bhakti Journal of Langlangbuana University,(2) photo documentation of the implementation, (3) draft teaching materials/modules entitled HOTS-based evaluation, (4) ) the increasing knowledge and ability of teachers of SMKS Putra Padjadjaran 2 Bandung in making and implementing HOTS-based evaluation tools in learning as an effort to improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes. One of the basic competencies that must be mastered by the fifth grade students is a mathematical understanding of the volume of cubes and cuboids. Observations show that most of the fifth grade students at SDN Margahayu 08 in the 2018/2019 academic year demonstrate low mathematical understanding. This study aims to apply the inquiry learning strategy assisted by the "Dulok Kumisan", a teaching aid in improving mathematical understanding. The research method used is the quasi-experimental research design with nonequivalent control group design. The instruments used were description tests and observation sheets of learning implementation. The first hypothesis testing used the average difference test (data comes from normal and homogeneous distributions) while the second hypothesis was tested with the Mann Whitney U Test because normality is not met but comes from homogeneous variance. The results showed that the mathematical understanding of experimental group students who applied inquiry learning strategies assisted with the "Dulok Kumisan" teaching aid was better than that of the control class that used conventional learning methods. There was an improvement in mathematical understanding of the fifth grade students at SDN Margahayu 08 on cube and cuboid volume after the inquiry learning strategy was used. Thus, the inquiry learning strategy assisted by the "Dulok Kumisan" teaching aid can be applied to improve mathematical understanding.
Penelitian ini berawal dari observasi di sekolah bahwa dalam proses pembelajaranPPKN belum sepenuhnya mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pengaruh interaksi antara model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap hasil belajar PPKn di kelas VII SMP Negeri 11 Kota Serang. Metode dalam peneltian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan desain treatment by level 2X2 atau desain faktorial 2 X 2. Hasil penelitian diambil dari uji hipotesis. Uji hipotesis dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima atau ditolak maka digunakan analysis of varian two ways ( Anova dua jalur ). Hasil penelitian ini dapat terlihat dalam Tests of Between-Subjects Effects di atas, didapatkan Kesimpulan Sebagai Berikut : diperoleh nilai Signifikansi (sig.) sebesar 0,013 atau lebih kecil dari 0,05 maka artinya hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa ada perbedaan Hasil Belajar PPKn berdasarkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dapat diterima. Untuk pengujian signifikasi, berdasarkan tabel Tests of Between-Subjects Effects di atas, didapatkan nilai Fhitung untuk masing-masing variabel lebih besar dari Ftabel pada taraf signifikansi 5% dimana Ftabel =4.091 yang berarti dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan interaksi antara model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek dan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis peserta didik terhadap Hasil Belajar PPKn peserta didik.
Training of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) approach, to improve professionalism for elementary school teachers at SDN Griya Bandung Indah (GBI), Bandung was conducted for community service. The target of the training is elementary school teachers in SDN Griya Bandung Indah (GBI), Bandung.. Problems are solved in three stages of activity, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. Preparation is done by conducting a preliminary survey to see the conditions in the field regarding teachers’ professional development. Implementation is done by training, using lecture method that is with presentation technique, followed by practice of micro teaching about STEM. Evaluation of activities carried out for each stage by collecting and summarizing data from each stage of activity. The results of the training activities show the success rate with an indication of material conformity with the needs of SDN Griya Bandung Indah (GBI), Bandung teachers, positive responses from the participants, and most participants have understood the STEM approach.
