This paper presents a frequency-tunable bandpass filter with constant absolute bandwidth and improved linearity. The proposed resonator is composed of an open-ended transmission line with back-to-back varactor diodes loaded at one end. The back-to-back varactor diodes are used to enhance the linearity of the filter, which is better than that of the single varactor counterparts. A mixed electric and magnetic coupling scheme is utilized to control the overall coupling coefficients so that the absolute bandwidth can be kept constant when the frequency is tuned. For validation, two frequency-tuning filters with 30-MHz and 44-MHz absolute bandwidth are implemented. The experimental and simulated results are presented to verify the proposed design.

She developed shock 10 minutes after taking three pieces of misoprostol. By way of a series of emergency treatments, the patient improved from her critical condition and an abortion followed. We concluded that the medicine that induced the shock was misoprostol and not the others. In clinical settings where abortions are medicine-induced, it is important to monitor the patient closely after dosing in order to avoid this complication. Recently, we rendered first aid to those injured in the most serious earthquake in the TongShan area of Northern China, where 242,000 inhabitants were killed and 164,000 were either slightly or seriously wounded. Almost all of the buildings in the city, high and low, were demolished. These buildings certainly included water and electricity supply systems and medical organizations.At the time, there were 218 emergency medical support groups from all over the country with memberships of 19,772 medical practitioners. They received 145,800 wounded persons. Among them, 63,400 were serious and 29,600 were in critical condition. Both had to receive emergency care. Statistics showed that 92% of wounded were treated with debridement, and others were separated into different categories with different treatments as following: 3.9% were treated with laparotomy; 0.13% with intestinal repair; 0.26% with splenectomy; 1.5% with fracture reduction; 0.2% with amputation; 0.13% with laminectomy; and 1.14% with other operation. This paper mainly concerns a special portable ambulance used in peacetime or wartime that can be assembled using some new systems. The purpose, necessity, feasibility, and operation instructions are discussed in detail. The stretcher not only can alleviate the suffering of the patients whose bed must be exchanged at the time of medical treatment, but also reduces the labor intensity of medical personnel. Effects of different methods of gas package on freshness of harvested waxy maize at room temperature in its shelf life were investigated. The harvested waxy maize were packaged under vacuum, air, N2 or CO2, respectively, and then stored 90 days at 30°Cafter the high temperature sterilization. After the sterilization and during storage, the changes of aerobic plate count, water content, soluble sugar content, and sensory evaluation were determined. The results showed that compared with others, the package with N2 could inhibit the growth of microorganisms, kept the content of water, soluble sugar and fat. After 90 days, the sensory evaluation could show that waxy maize of N2 package had better tasty and aroma.

To improve the level of ship monitoring, ease the engineer’s working strength, improve the level of the shipping company regulation, the remote fault diagnosis system of ship’s engine room is designed with the comprehensive utilization of neural network, SQL Sever database, C/S structure, the Inmarsat system, etc. The system includes the data acquisition, data storage, the display and control of interface and wireless transmission.
