A research program is currently underway with the purpose of developing a double-layer air jet looms with solo-supported gas device. Issues related to the design and feasibility analysis of the solo-supported high pressure gas device are discussed. The results of simulations show that assistant nozzle is necessary during weft insertion motion, but too many assistant nozzles would cause the flow velocity reduce. And it is confirmed that flow channel with one main and four assistant nozzles is one of the best designs to keep the flow velocity at the middle line of flow channel more than 90m/s and make the loom work swimmingly.
In order to research the drag force and balance characteristics of undersea observatory platform during the sinking process. The effect base in different shape and arrangement on the flow field are studied with the help of Fluent, the relationship that how shape and arrangements of base influences drag force and balance characteristic are studied. The results show that pressure drag is the main component of the whole drag force. Round pie base suffer the least drag force, adopting the arrangement that put a round pie base at each vertex of hexagon, undersea observation platform would maintain good stability during the sinking process.
This article adopts nonlinear vibration method to analyze the fluctuation process of warp yarn. Selecting Kelvin model.A differential equation of the warp yarn vibration in lengthwise and crosswise is established by Newton law.And using Galerkin truncation method to separate the variables of time and space and to discrete partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations.The vertical and lateral vibration response of the warp are analyzed by 4-order Runge-Kutta method and matlab. Getting transverse and longitudinal vibration of warp yarns.
