As a novel network architecture, software‐defined networking (SDN) separates the control plane from the data plane through the thought of centralized control and realizes flexible allocation of network resources on demand. While information‐centric networking (ICN) replaces the host‐centric TCP/IP network, and the router has the function of data storage and forwarding. With the growing trend of globalization, English translation has attracted much attention. This paper pays attention to efficient English translation in software‐defined ICN (SDICN). The translation efficiency cannot be ensured when multiple translation requests are made simultaneously in SDICN. Therefore, this paper studies deployment strategy of multi‐controllers in SDICN. The experimental results show that the proposed strategy outperforms in controller load, packet loss rate and latency, which ensures the efficiency of English translation.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
