By catalytically removal of molecular oxygen, carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted from an oxy‐combustion power plant can be utilized for chemical upgrades to value‐added chemicals and in oil recovery. The sequential bed design allows both high throughout and excellent selectivity, making it desirable for the large‐scale utilization of CO2 and contributing to reduce the impact of CO2 on climate change.
