Flower-like magnalium layered composites (MgAl-LDH) were first fabricated by a hydrothermal method, and a series of AgSiOx/MgAl-LDH composites with different mole ratios was successfully prepared by loading AgSiOx on the MgAl-LDH surface.
Offshore practical training is extremely challenging for undergraduate students from the point of view of security. In order to create a safe training environment for offshore oil and gas engineering education, three virtual emulation laboratories have been developed. The components, functions, and connections of the emulators are described in this paper. The use of these laboratories and the feeling of students are discussed. It is evident from the evaluation of learning outcomes that using such virtual laboratories is a preferred approach to cultivate the practical skills of undergraduate students more safely and economically. Moreover, the confidence and innovative capability are enhanced significantly.
In order to realize the optimal scheduling and energy saving of urban water supply pipeline system, a method of flow and pressure prediction of water supply pipeline network based on genetic algorithm and BP neural network is proposed in the paper. The flow and pressure prediction models of urban water supply network are built, then tests and verifies the models by the dates obtained from the water supply monitoring system, so as to provide control basis for optimal operation of urban water supply pipeline network.
