Locally advanced (pT3-4pN0/xM0) UTUC patients who underwent cisplatin-based adjuvant chemotherapy demonstrated better RFS and CSS than those without adjuvant chemotherapy.
Long-term survival could be achieved for some patients with mUC who underwent metastasectomy. Lung and lymph nodes were predominant sites for metastasectomy. Symptoms, TTR, and CRP value were identified as associated with survival and should be taken into account when metastasectomy is considered.
Adrenal hemorrhages caused by metastatic tumor tend to be serious anemia. In addition, the most patients with adrenal hemorrhages, who had Hb < 10 g/dl and the maximum diameter of the hematoma > 10 cm, required immediate medical treatment, e.g. TAE or surgical hemostasis.
