The purpose of this paper 重 s to evaluate the influence of asymmetric and uneven thermal radia ・ tion field upon the hum 尹 n body, Experiments were conducted under the fol ! owing conditions . Ten young male subjects in sedentary nude posture were exposed to eithteen kinds of thermal radiation field , The 出 ermal radiation field ' was set to Ieft ・ right side symmetry and left − right side asymmetry with the aim of ℃ onstaht operative temperature. It was found the foliowing :The infLu . ence of asymmetric thermal radiation field between left side 4nd right side was ' observed . In asym − metric radiation condition thermal and comf ♀ rt sensations fluctuate over , the wide range in contrast with symme ric condition , However , 'the general tendency the influerice of 』 asymmetric thermal radiation field upon subjective sensation was not evident from data of the tast 10 minutes . In con − trast, skin temperature difference between right and left sides corresponds to direc し ; onal areq op − erative temperature difference between both sides . It is necessary to reconsider usual operative temperature that has been used when there are asymmetric thermal radiatien field . It would be more suitable to deal with the usual operative temperature in every pres と nce of asymmetric ther . mal radiation and relation between air temperat肛 e and mean radiant temperature. 、 .
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
