Solid Electrolyte Interphase Layers
In article number http://doi.wiley.com/10.1002/aesr.202200065, Jeeyoung Yoo and co‐workers, present a method to reduce anodic polarization through lithium metal protective layers. A lithium metal anode with a stainless‐steel mesh protective layer is compared with a lithium metal anode with copper mesh protective layer. Stainless steel mesh contributes to the control of lithium‐ion flux and the formation of a stable solid electrolyte interface layer due to its inert characteristics.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
