Automation in the drug inventory distribution process is helpful to pharmacist. Pharmacy management has kept paper record in filing cabinets. Managing a very large pharmacy with records on papers will be tedious and difficult to keep track ofinventories with regards to the drugs in the store, expiry date, quantity of drugs available based on the categories and their functions. A Drug Inventory Management Information System(DIMIS) is basically a computer system that can manage all the information to allow pharmacists to do their jobs faster and more effective in real time. These jobs include: dispensing of drugs, drug regulation, and the sale of these drugs. The developed methodology adopted in the implementation of the software is iterative model of system development life cycle. This method produces an early stage of model. The development of the system is based on using new technologies like AJAX, ASP.NET MVC 5, Bootstrap, HTML and CSS which make the user interface more interactive. C#.NET language was used as server language whereas as a database server Microsoft SQL server 2012 was utilized. DIMIS is able to search and check a huge number and expiration date of drug in the purchase as well as delivery records. These attributes and functions are powerful, efficient and subsequently useful in patient's safety and cost containment
Nowadays the number of embedded devices communicating over a network is increasing. Thus, the need for security appeared. Considering various constraints for the limited resources devices is very important. These constraints include power, memory, area and latency. A perfect environment for satisfying requirements of security in limited resources devices is lightweight cryptography. A recent lightweight algorithm that has a low area and high throughput which is the ANU-II block cipher. Many technologies like the internet of things (IoT) needed lightweight hardware architectures to provide security for it. In IoT issues like the size of memory, power consumption and smaller gate counts need to take care of by using lightweight cryptography. This paper presents hardware lightweight data path implementation for the ANU-II algorithm using field programmable gate array (FPGA). This paper presents a hardware implementation of a 64-bit ANU-II block cipher. Also, this research presents comparisons based on various design metrics among our data path for the ANU-II cipher and other existing data path designs. The result of the proposed design shows a high throughput of 1502.31, 1951.86, and 2696.47 Mbps. Also, it shows the high efficiency of 7.0201, 31.9977, and 10.6579 Mbps/slice as compared to other ciphers in this paper.
The importance of information at present has increased the importance of database systems to organize the information we need, and to provide it for use in the appropriate and timely manner. Thus, the science of managing database systems evolved from a subtopic in computer applications to a basic subject and a major component of modern computer science, thus, database systems have become a key part of the Platform for Computer Science. This paper presents the design and Implementation of a Transcript System for college of engineering, University of Diyala, this system releases transcript by retrieving student’s data from database which later stored in Microsoft access database with user interfaces designed by using the tools of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (.Net). This system solves most of the problems which happen by using manual methods such as delay in the delivery student’s transcript, mistakes in the student data in the transcript (name, average...). The system provides sufficient capacity to facilitate the work of the registration staff with respect to data entry and validation and increases efficient service delivery and benefits both registration staff and students.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
