AbstrakTujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui: (1) tahapan, (2) bentuk, (3) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi, dan (4) strategi pengembangan partisipasi masyarakat dalam penyelenggaraan program-program PKBM Ngudi Kapinteran, Semanu, Gunungkidul. Penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian yaitu (1) Tahapan partisipasi masyarakat dimulai dari proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi serta pemanfaatan hasil. (2) Bentuk partisipasi masyarakat terbagi dalam dua bentuk meliputi; (a) fisik yaitu material dan tenaga, dan (b) non fisik yaitu ide. (3) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat yaitu faktor pendukung yang berupa budaya dan kebermanfaatan program sedangkan faktor penghambatnya adalah tingkat pendidikan dan jenis pekerjaan. (4) Strategi pengembangan partisipasi masyarakat yaitu dengan komunikasi, keterlibatan masyarakat dan pemberdayaan komunitas. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan adanya hubungan peran orang tua dan pendidik dalam menerapkan perilaku disiplin terhadap anak usia dini. Menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara terstruktur skala Guttman, observasi dengan dokumentasi pada 35 anak usia dini di Kelompok Bermain Surya Marta Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian adalah tingkat keeratan hubungan antara peran orang tua dengan perilaku disiplin anak usia dini adalah sangat lemah dan hubungannya berbanding terbalik, tingkat keeratan hubungan antara peran pendidik terhadap perilaku disiplin anak adalah lemah, dan hubungannya searah, tingkat keeratan antara hubungan peran orang tua dan pendidik secara bersama-sama adalah lemah dan hubungannya tidak searah. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian kepada orang tua dan pendidik supaya mengoptimalkan perannya dengan memberikan arahan kepada anak usia dini dalam berperilaku disiplin, mengadakan hubungan dengan bekerja sama dalam menerapkan perilaku disiplin terhadap anak usia dini.Kata Kunci: peran orang tua dan pendidik, perilaku disiplin, anak usia dini. Integrating ICT in teacher training has become an absolute necessity over recent years. This research highlights the role of training as a means to improve Islamic religious education teacher competence in ICT. Specifically, the case-study research aim is to describe the level of ICT integration into the Islamic religious education training, referring to ‘education-and-training’, at a religious training center (RTC) in Palembang, Indonesia. Thirty teachers of Indonesian Islamic school (madrasah) and two facilitators at the RTC acted as informants in the research. Using the interactive model of qualitative analysis by Miles and Huberman, the research results indicated that the participants have already integrated ICT but were restricted to using presentations, especially the PowerPoint computer program. Secondly, age and technical problems became the major constraints to realize such integration. With respect to the availability of facilities, the RTC is in good category.
Many farmers' empowerment has failed because the process is rigid, instructive, and uses too many techniques that are not following the local conditions of the community. Therefore, the empowerment process must be improved to be able to make farmers empowered and independent. For this reason, it is necessary to explore how the learning process and the involvement of actor in the empowerment process are needed. The subjects of this study consisted of eight farmers and one empowerment actor. The method used is qualitative through in-depth interviews, observation, and document review. All data were transcribed, organized, then analyzed to produce conclusions. The findings of this study include: (1) Empowerment of coffee farmers is carried out with a situated learning strategy so that the knowledge and skills of farmers are easily developed; (2) Empowerment actor encourage farmer participation through the use of coffee farmers' social networks so that social solidarity is realized among coffee farmers; (3) The habit of coffee farmers supports the empowerment process and is free to explore their ideas; (4) Technology supports empowerment and makes the learning process more attractive to coffee farmers.
Life skills education basically aims to improve the quality of human resources to overcome various problems in their daily lives in the era of the 21st century. This study was aimed to describe the non-formal education institution managers’ efforts to implement the 21st-century life skills education. The researcher employed the quantitative approach with a survey research design in Yogyakarta City and Sleman District. The respondents were non-formal education institution managers. The data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using the quantitative analysis method. The results of the study show that the implementation of 21st-century life skills education is still limited to the knowledge and hard skill developments. The unexplored materials include thinking skills which consist of conceptual thinking, creativity, innovation, problem-solving, critical thinking, decision-making, and metacognition. The novelty of this research is the findings in this study provide a more detailed description of the weaknesses of non-formal education institutions in providing life skills education.
