Das Tyrosin in 2‐Stellung des Oxytocins (I) wird gegen den L‐Tryptophan‐, D‐Tryptophan‐, O‐Äthyl‐D‐tyrosin‐ und L‐Phenylglycinrest ausgetauscht.

Synthesis of Seco-Acids of the Dammarane Series.-The synthesis of the title acids (IV) and (V) is presented. Whilst acid (V) (yield in g) is obtained directly by chromic acid oxidation of alnincanone (I), the acid (IV) is formed via the hydroximino derivative (II) and nitrile (III). Durch Austausch des Glutaminsäurerestes im Oxytocin gegen eine hydrophobe Aminosäure wie Lysin wird die uterotonische Aktivität stark vermindert.
