Durch Reaktion der Vanadate LnVO3 (Ln:La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, H0, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu) mit trockenem Chlor ab 400 °C werden die bisher unbekannten Oxochlorovanadate LnVO3Cl erhalten.

ChemInform Abstract It is demonstrated that Li can be electrochemically intercalated into ScO, TiO, and VO, but not into NbO. The diffusion coefficients are estimated to be 10-14-10-11 cm2/s in ScO and TiO and 1-3 orders of magnitude smaller in VO. No significant intercalation of sodium into these hosts is observed.

Interaction of Nd2 MoO 5 with Molybdenum(VI) Oxide. -Reaction of readily available Nd 2 MoO 5 with MoO 3 above 250 • C results in the formation of NdMoO 4 (IV), which crystallizes in the cubic system.
