In this article, the authors reviewed the zoning of cultural heritage objects in Bryansk region in the process of cadastral registration. The engineering and survey activities carried out during the preparation of the project for the formation of zones with special conditions of use included cartographic and field studies. Taking into account the performed historical and urban planning analysis, a historical and cultural reference plan (HCRP) was prepared there. The results of a landscape-visual analysis of the compositional interconnections between cultural heritage object, the surrounding buildings and the landscape environment made it possible to designate the parameters of the protected zone and specific conditions, which are not always taken into account by the current regulatory and methodological framework. The approaches proposed in the work to solve the mentioned above problems can increase the information support of the project activities and, as a result, the quality of control actions.
