The purpose of the work – to realize the analysis of the studies and publicationsconcerning oxygen- restorative potential of the drinking water and internal medium ofthe human being which prove the significance of this index for the description of thefunctional state of the organism and quality of the used liquids, in particular water, andcontribute to the introduction of ORP norms into the quality standards of these productsand diagnostics and treatment of various pathological conditions.Conclusions. The analyzed publications generalize knowledge about biophysical, pharmacological and physiological effects of liquids with different ORP, extend theunderstanding of water role in the organism. The examined problems contribute to thenew ORP investigations in the body systems, and also enable to re-examine some scientificprinciples and standards as to water and drinks. In particular, we propose obligatory inclusionof ORP index to the quality standards and physiological safety of the drinking water.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
