Function analysis is a key step during conceptual design process for function reasoning, which is also useful for the confirmation of conflict. And resolving conflict is regarded as the essence of invention in view point of TRIZ. Component attributes are the necessary information for a function model. The classification of the available resource and the component attributes is the base for searching specific solution for the domain problem. The methodology and application of component attributes in conceptual design are discussed in this paper.
This paper discusses the methods of improving the efficiency and exactitude of the road conditions test though the modeling test algorithm. It presents the data structure of road model in which double direction data chain can be established. There are two clipping windows, Wout and Wcontour. Wout would eliminate the lines that can’t intersect rapidly. The lines that maybe intersect would be estimated exactly by Wout after coordinates transforming.Thealgorithms of the road conditions testing are proved to be efficacious.
The precision forging processes for gears have advantages in saving material and energy consumption, reducing the cost and improving the quality of products. Gears have complicated geometries and are difficult in precision deformation. Two kinds of forging process of gears were put forward according to the structure characteristic of gears. 3D FEM model of the precision forging process of gears was established. The forming laws, material plastic behavior, changed geometries and the qualities of the workpieces are explored by finite element simulation. According to the simulation results, completely filled gear teeth were obtained using a lower forging load by the designed process which is the effective forging process for manufacturing of gears. From this study, it was expected that designed process could be efficiently used in the gear forging for practical use in the industry.
According to the uneven illumination or the very complex background cases, global threshold value method can't correctly to binary particle image; this paper puts forward a kind of background correction method and the OTSU for particle image binary method. It's used background correction method to eliminate the influence of uneven illumination, and the OTSU for binary particle image. Combining with the above methods are tested, and the result shows that, after the background is corrected, we segment the background brightness particle image; the OTSU can obtain ideal image segmentation effect.
In this paper, when the feature extraction algorithm extracts the veneer defect features, due to the veneer rotation and a large number of surface textures, the problem of poor feature matching and long time consumption occurs, and an improved SURF algorithm is proposed. The feature matching experiments of the three types of defects such as knots, dead knots, and holes in the veneer were carried out. The experiments verified that the algorithm had good rotation invariance and high efficiency when extracting veneer defect features.
