Customers’ preferences for prefabricated building or conventional cast-in-situ building directly affect the decision-making process for strategic selection of building developers. This study utilizes a Hotelling model integrating game theory, including the market share function, product price function, and profit function of duopoly building developers to contribute a new approach to assist decision makers in their selection of developers for their projects. By analyzing different strategy combinations and the income matrix, we obtained the strategy combinations of duopoly building developers and the income matrix strategies, market share, optimal price and maximum profit. Managerial implications were discussed for government and building developers. Finally, we presented the research contribution as well as future research direction.
This paper, using the blade momentum theory combined with dynamic inflow correction and stall delay correction, analyses how periodic surge affect rotor aerodynamics of the NREL 5MW turbine operating at three different regions of its power curve. Results show that surge has the largest effects on rotor aerodynamics in region under rated wind speed while the smallest in region above that. Besides, oscillation amplitudes of rotor aerodynamic loads are in linear correlation with surge frequency and amplitude in most cases, except that rotor power and torque in region above rated wind speed is in linear correlation with the square of surge frequency. Results of this analysis would provide reference data for designs of floating wind turbine systems.
An approach for null broadening beamforming is proposed based on adaptive variable diagonal loading (VDL) and combined with the covariance matrix taper (CMT) approach, aiming at improving the robustness of adaptive antenna null broadening beamforming when array calibration error exists. Hence, it is named VDL-CMT. In this novel approach, the signal-to-noise ratio in the tapered sample covariance matrix is estimated and the VDL factor can be obtained adaptively. Then, the covariance matrix of the CMT approach is loaded with the obtained VDL factor. According to simulation results, in the case of array calibration error, robustness of the VDL-CMT is significantly improved and its performance is better than that of the existing adaptive antenna null broadening beamforming approaches.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
