We investigate the ionization of an atom with different orbital angular momenta in the high frequency laser field by solving the time-dependent Schrödinger equation. It is found that the ionization stabilization features changed with the relative direction between the angular momentum of the initial state and the vector field of the laser pulse. With the calculation of the transition matrix and the evolution of the time-dependent wavepacket, the ionization mechanism of the atom irradiated by the high frequency is explained. This study can further deepen the understanding of the atomic nonadiabatic ionization progress.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
