CTLG can select the candidate with truly node negative cases in early breast cancer patients, because it predicts lymph node metastasis preoperatively from natural status of the lymphographic image. It also might omit the SLN biopsy itself.

Lymphovascular invasion degree is one of the important factors to predict NAC efficacy for breast cancer.

Breast thickness may be a useful factor for predicting the degree of clip movement after 11-gauge vacuum-assisted stereotactic biopsy.

Use of CTLG and fluorescence navigation made performing SLNB with high accuracy possible in institutions that cannot use the radioisotope method. OSNA provided accurate intraoperative method, allowing for completion of axillary node dissection during surgery and avoidance of second surgical procedure in patients with positive SLNs, thereby reducing patient distress and, finally, saving hospital costs.
