Background: Food access is defined as a way to get food geographically by individuals or households. If one household lacks in accessing food, they could be included at risk of food insecurity. Farmer's household is one of the examples of a vulnerable group that can be at that risk. Farmers not only play an important role in producing food for the community but also fulfill their own food for their families. Participation of farmer households in farmer group organizations provides an alternative to make their food needs secure. Objectives: This research explored how farmer households who become members of the organizations access their food in Salatiga.
