Metaphor is called as part of comparison figure of speech. It compares two thing implisitly without using any comparison words such as, like, resemble to, etc. As a figurative expression, metaphor requires a special treatment to translate.  The ability of the translator is very much influence to the result of metaphorical translation. He is not only have to  empower himself with both source and target languages but also he better has a deep cultural understanding especially about metaphor. There are four types of metaphor on Ullmann version (1972: 213 - 216), namely: Antropomorfis etmaphor, animal metaphor, the abstract to concrete transfer and vise versa, sinaestetic metaphor. Furthermore, there are three criteria that should be fulfilled to value the quality of a translation viz the accuracy, the acceptability, and the text readability.Keywords:  Translation; Strategy;  Metaphor

The goal of the community service entitled Introduction to English through songs at TPQ Al Kautsar 1 is to introduce English vocabulary through songs to improve students' comprehension of English. English song content taught at TPQ Al Kautsar 1 has never been obtained. The first stage was to conduct a series of English language introduction activities for pupils using songs to train pupils at TPQ Al Kautsar. Community service increased pupils' English comprehension. TPQ Al Kautsar pupils, based on observations made by the community service team, there are indications of increased English comprehension among pupils at TPQ Al Kautsar 1.

This study aims for (1) analyzing the kinds of category shifts found in the movie of The Adventure of Tintin "The Secret of Unicorn" into Indonesian Subtitle, (2) explaining the dominant category, and (3) describing the influences of those category shifts on transferring the messages of the source language. The data in this research were all of the sentences spoken by the actors in The Adventure of Tintin "The Secret of Unicorn" movie, whose translations (subtitles) contain any type of category shifts This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The process of collecting data is by taking all data that are suitable to the criteria and supported the research. There are four types of category shifts occured in the subtitling text of the The Adventure of Tintin "The Secret of Unicorn" movie. They are structure shift, class shift, unit shift and intra-system shift. The structure shift has the highest frequency, that is 289 cases or about 50.7 %. The occurrence of category shift in this movie can make the translation's result more natural, accurate, and communicative.

This study discusses the translation quality comparison produced by SDL Free Translate and Tradukka online translation services. This study includes qualitative descriptive research which is using discussion methods, questionnaires and interviews. The result of this study is the quality of the translation produced by Tradukka is more accurate, acceptable and readable than SDL Free Translate. It can be showed by percentage of 9.8% for the quality of SDL Free translations and 11.3% for translations produced by Tradukka. From the results of the analysis found that not all of online translation services have good translating capacity. It is based on the quality of the translation produced between the two online translation services above.
