This study analyzed the factors that influence consumer's purchase intention towards halal products, which are Religiosity, and Halal Awareness, Halal Certification as a moderating variable, using causal descriptive with hypothesis testing by using crosssection data collected through questionnaires. The method used was the coefficient of determination, significance regression from the overall sample, and personal significance's parameters.
<p><em>This study aimed to examine the effect of deferred tax expense, tax planning, and the deferred tax assets to earnings management. The independent variable of this research is deferred tax expense, tax planning and deferred tax assets, the dependent variable of this study is the disclosure of Earnings Management. The sample used in this research is manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2013-2015 as many as 46 companies by using purposive sampling method. This study uses multiple methods of analysis using SPSS 23. These results indicate that in partial deferred tax expense, tax planning and deferred tax assets has positive influence on the disclosure of earnings management.</em></p>
This study examine the impact of Firm reputation and CEO Characteristics toward firm performance after corporate action acquisition and merger. This study also examines how CEO characteristics mediates firm reputation to maximize firm performance after acquisition. This research objectives are firm that listed in Indonesia stock exchange between 2010 till 2016 and executing corporate action mergers and acquisitions. To select the research sample, this research conducted purposive sampling. This research data analysis are using e-views program to conduct descriptive statistical test, outlier test and hypothesis test. The results of this study show that by choosing an experienced, capable and aggressive CEO can maximize firm reputation and firm performance. We also find that a capable and experienced CEO able to mediates firm reputation as resources for maximize the firm performance. These research findings will be helpful for management in maximize firm performance by using acquisition and merger as business strategy, management can set the standard requirement for firm reputation and choosing a new CEO to take charge in acquisition project as their intangible resources. The novelty of this research are provide a new insight of acquisition as how CEO characteristics effect firm performance by using firm reputation as mediating variable.
The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of Islamic leadership and Islamic work ethics on employee performance of Islamic banks in Riau province, whereby Islamic organizational culture became the mediator variable. This research employs the Structure Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 M3 software. The data were collected by using a questionnaire from 275 respondents. The respondent in this research was an employee of Islamic banks in Riau Province. The result showed that Islamic leadership, Islamic work ethics, and Islamic organizational culture positively and significantly influence on employee performance of Islamic banks in Riau province. On another side, the Islamic leadership mediated by Islamic organizational culture does not significantly influence on employee performance of Islamic Banks in Riau Provence. The finding of this research suggests that to enhance the role of Islamic leadership to create Islamic organization culture and Islamic work ethics increasingly would be an effect on employee performance of Islamic Bank in Riau province.

This study is a comparative study between Riau Province in Indonesia and Selangor State in Malaysia with the aim of assessing differences in the zakat distribution program in reducing poverty in both regions, using the Tawhidi String Relationship (TSR) theory with a circular causation approach and a dynamic analysis model. The results of the study found that there were differences in the management of zakat in the two regions, differences in the effect of reducing poverty, differences in the amount of zakat collected and differences in the distribution of zakat funds. Research recommendation is Riau Province should unite the management of zakat in one institution to concentrated zakat funds and the distribution of zakat has a stronger multiplier effect in reducing poverty.
