Triplet Excited-State Chemistry of Diplatinum(II) Complexes. Comparative Spectroscopy and Quenching Rate Constants between the Tetrakls(/¿-pyrophosphlto)diplat¡nate(II) and the Tetrakls[)U-methylenebis(phosphonlto)]dlplatlnate(II) Tetraanions
The Pt(II)Pt(III) hydride complex Pt2(μ‐P2O5H2)4H4‐ (I) can be generated by either pulse radiolysis of aqueous Pt2(μ‐P2O5H2)44‐ (II) at pH 4 in the presence of t‐BuOH or by pulsed‐laser photolysis (Nd‐YAG at 355 nm) or aqueous (II) with added i‐PrOH, H3PO3, or H3PO2.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
