The issues of the development of innovative processes in agriculture in Uzbekistan on the example of the Tashkent province were revealed in this paper. The assimilation and further widespread dissemination of innovations are becoming key factors in the growth of production and employment in agriculture. It is here that the most significant reserves for improving product quality, saving labor and material costs, increasing labor productivity, improving the organization of production and increasing its efficiency are hidden. All this, ultimately, predetermines the competitiveness of enterprises and their products in the domestic and world markets, improvement of the socio-economic situation in the country’s agricultural sector. In this regard, the relevance of this study was determined.
This article presents ways to improve the introduction of innovations in agriculture. One of the main factors in the growth of production and employment in agriculture is the application and wide distribution of innovations. Practice shows that innovation is the most important source of improving product quality, saving labor and material costs, increasing labor productivity, improving production and increasing industry efficiency. The results showed that the area of cereal crops in 1991 was 1079.9 thousand hectares, in 2020 it was 1578.3 thousand hectares, vegetable crops were 165.6 thousand hectares in 1991 to 220.0 thousand hectares in 2020, and potatoes were 40.0 thousand hectares in 1991 to 2020 increased by 89.6 thousand hectares. The total area of agricultural crops was 4200.0 thousand hectares in 1991 and 53309.4 thousand hectares in 2020, which was decreased. Noteworthy, innovative methods must be introduced for effective use of products, technology, and equipment, while employees’ qualifications must be improved to ensure the smooth implementation of these innovations.
Our article discusses ways to increase efficiency through the application of innovations in farms specializing in animal husbandry. Livestock is one of the leading sectors of agriculture in Uzbekistan. Meat, dairy and egg products of the population provide the industry with leather, wool and other raw materials. In today’s market economy, one of the most important tasks is to provide the population of Uzbekistan with high quality, environmentally friendly and affordable livestock products. There are many branches of the livestock industry, such as cattle breeding, sheep breeding, poultry farming, horse breeding, fishing, beekeeping. Therefore, the main tasks of the development of these industries are to build a strong fodder base, to provide livestock with a variety of cervitamines, protein-rich, nutritious feeds throughout the year, to properly organize breeding and selection work, based on best practices and scientific achievements such as efficient use, cost-saving new equipment, introduction of innovative efficient technologies, mechanization of production processes, increasing the level of automation, widespread introduction of modern advanced technologies in practice and specialization of farms in formed production and other factors.
