The most important human senses are vision and hearing, and learning, educational, communication, and emotional activities are widely associated with these two senses so the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and mental health. The research method was descriptive-correlational and the study population consisted of all students with visual and hearing impairment aged 12 years and above in Kermanshah Exceptional Centers and Public Schools. They were studied (28 blind and 58 deaf). The instrument used in this study was Shot emotional intelligence questionnaire, mental health and social anxiety. Pearson correlation coefficient was used to investigate the relationship between emotional intelligence and mental health with social anxiety. The results of stepwise regression coefficient showed that the strongest predictors were emotional intelligence, emotional appraisal and emotional productivity, and mental health, anxiety, and insomnia components in social function which predict the variance of social anxiety as 44%. Pearson correlation coefficients showed that the components of physical symptoms, anxiety and insomnia, social dysfunction and depression were positively correlated with social anxiety. However, the relationship between evaluation and expression of emotion, emotion regulation
Objectives: Transitional care program refers to the health care continuity during transferring from one health care setting to another or to home. This is an essential program for cancer patients and reduces the risk of unnecessary hospital admissions as well as the complications of the disease. The aim of this study was to develop a transitional cancer care program from hospital to home in the health care system of Iran. Methods: This study is a health policy and system research. It was conducted in four stages from October 2019 to January 2020. The first stage was a qualitative study. The qualitative data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 24 participants and a focus group with eight experts. In the second stage, a literature review of transitional care models was carried out. The initial version of the transitional cancer care program was developed based on the qualitative results and the literature review in the third stage. The validity and feasibility of the program were assessed using the Delphi study in the fourth stage. Results: Six major categories were extracted from the qualitative results, consisting of "integrated services for the continuity of care", "holistic care", "care standardization", "the use of telemedicine", "the transparency of rules" and "the care process provision". Using these results and extracted the three common models of transitional care, the initial program was developed in three phases of pre-discharge, post-discharge, and transitional care with six protocols. The content validity of the program (98.7%) and its feasibility (95.8%) were approved by experts in the Delphi rounds. Conclusions: It is necessary to revise hospitals' discharge program, and home health care center's plan for admission and delivering health care services for cancer patients. Also, a pilot program is necessary to find the system advantages and disadvantages.
Leishmania parasites as the causative agent of leishmaniasis belong to Trypanosomatidae family. Parasite, vector, vertebrate host and environment are major factors in pathogenesis of Leishmania. Parasite dependent factors are virulence factors which exist in Leishmania species such as LPG, GP63. In recent years, the importance of these factors in the field of vaccine and drug has been considered by researchers. Sand fly biting behavior and salivary gland proteins are vector dependent factors which are effective in the Leishmania pathogenesis. Age, gender, nutrition, immune system, infectious diseases, genetic, occupation, socio-economic characteristics, and habitat are vertebrate host mediated factors. Temperature, rainfall, wind and its speed, soil, and continuous changes in climate are also environmental factors. Therefore the aim of this study was to evaluate the pathogenesis of Leishmania parasites.
Background:The main purpose of this study was to analyze the impact of organizational silence and mobbing on turnover intention. Method: The statistical population of this study was 386 employees of Payam-e-Noor University of Kermanshah. In order to determine the sample size we have applied Morgan table and consequently 191 employees have were selected as sample members by random sampling method for the first half of 2018. The data collection tool was a standard questionnaire in this area. Validity (content, convergent, divergent) and reliability (loading factor, composite reliability, Cronbach's alpha) of questionnaire indicate that measuring instruments have good reliability and validity. The results of hypotheses test by SMART-PLS software and using t-test statistics. Results: Path coefficients (β) indicate that organizational silence have strong, direct and significant influence on mobbing. Mobbing have strong, direct and significant effects on turnover intention and organizational silence have weak, indirect and significant effects on turnover intention. On the other hand, mobbing can play moderator role in influence on organizational silence and turnover intention. Conclusion: Despite the design model, it can be expected that the university can reduce the level of job leave due to the variables of organizational silence and organizational mobility.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
