A kind of steel frame assembly applicable to high rise building is proposed herein. The composition of system, the technology characteristics of components and connections are analysed in detail. Based on the simplification of analytical model for the truss beam and beam-column connection, a simplified structural analysis method is also proposed. Finally, an application case is given to verify the effectiveness of the simplified analytical method. The results show that the simplified method produces good accuracy and it can meet the requirements of engineering structural analysis and design.
