Architecture withen its environment is a field of knowledge that exchanges influence for various disciplines, The concept of fashion emerged in various fields espatialy those that had both sids physical and meaning such as architecture and costume. That drew the research attention to it and explained its vision regarding the relationship between architecture and fashion, the problem of research is determined by the "unclear relationship between architecture and fashion The aim of the research is to investigate the possibilities of similarities and differences between them to clarify the type of anology. In order to achieve the research objective, the research adopted a descriptive analytical approach for each of the two disciplines. The research was able to determine the extent of fashion for the two disciplines and identify the two ends with (type - innovation) and between them many values represented by different currents and trends in both fashion and architecture. Vocabulary has been applied in a practical study of a sample to reach the main findings and conclusions that showed that the similar was not a perfect match for the existence of the participants between them, most notably achieving fashion for the expressive body and formal differentiation within the societal context in the product of fashion and architecture, so that the The establishment of bodies reflecting the "fashion style" as a kind of fixed traditions versus the fashion reflects the "fashion trend of the epilepsy" as a kind of rapid changes and values of renewal in society, against the emergence of a fundamental difference between fashion and architecture was represented by the possibility of achieving the fashion architecture of the essence of architecture is the creation of architectural space Unless fashion was able to achieve in clothing and was closer to reflecting the identity of societies and ideas, while the architectural robe represented a space or space extending from the structure to the outer cladding, achieving different cases of architectural space (closed - open) to announce the extent of communication between the inside and outside reflecting the intellectual aspects prevailing in society through time and place
The built forms represent the words in the language of architecture. Forms represent messages that convey expressions that can be expressed and felt through certain properties carried by space, which contribute to moving human thoughts and memories. Thus, we can talk about a hidden aspect in the language of architecture that we can call the language of silence. Silence speaks of the experience of stopping at the loss of words to reveal the presence of emotions and senses, as it is a natural reaction of the human being to a specific situation that requires interpretation. From this point of view, the importance of research on the phenomenon of silence in architecture emerged because of its sublime and spiritual dimensions. Thus, the inclusion of these dimensions in architectural design. This paper examines how silence affects meaning in architecture as a research problem. The research concluded that silence is a form of metaphor, as silence can be symbolic or metaphorical representations of ideas. These concepts cannot be easily communicated through linguistic messages or whose power is more significant when not verbal, which requires silence to depend on its context to convey its meaning.
Sustainability emerged as a general trend in architecture within its dimensions (environmental, economic, and social) which affected on certain types of buildings especially the modern mosque architecture. The social dimension of sustainability represents the area of research interest, as it does not show the extent of its influence in determining the design characteristics of the mosque's architecture. hence, the research problem was (lack of knowledge perception of the mosque indicators that make it a social type and the absence of a clear vision of the vocabulary most achieved in local modern mosque as well as the nature of the criteria that determines the acceptance of this type of mosques within the local community).According to this the research goals are (Identify the indicators that characterize the mosque as a social type, determine the nature of the most achieved indicators within the local model, determine the index nature of the collective acceptance for this building type.) The research determined the indicators that characterised mosque as social type and found that they are related to the indicators related to making place and living occupancy of social sustainability. These affected on layout, spatial organization and formal aspects of mosque. The local mosque achieved these indicators partially and its design was closer to the model of the social mosque within its vocabulary which was reflected within layout and spatial aspect as it was more accomplished.as well as The research concluded that the cultural background and the living level of the recipient represent the nature of the indicator that responsible for common acceptance for this type although it does not represent a new type of mosques, but represent an extension of the comprehension functional role of the Prophet's Mosque.
The paper studies the concept of Shanshul as an architectural concept rooted in the Islamic world and the countries of the East with two functional and aesthetic dimensions of equal importance which contributed to its formulation as an event, But a new techniques have emerged to try to create a new image that Western architectural experiences have adopted and moved on to local Arab architectural experiences, Research Problem emerged as a lack of clarity of the role of contemporary technologies in the introduction of a new image of the Shanshul as a multidimensional event, , and the research defined its methodology to reach its goal and ending with its conclusions. It highlighted the depth of the global and Arab experience, which tried to maintain the approximate balance of the aesthetic and functional dimensions, the research concluded the ability of the Shanshul to find the balance of functional and aesthetic dimensions by reverting to their founding principles and pushing them forward through contemporary materials in a unified and coherent structure.
