This paper present the speed controller based on fuzzy logic applied to photovoltaic water pumping systems driving by a brushless permanent magnet motor. The study proposed model consists essentially of photovoltaic generator associated to chopper converter controlled by fuzzy logic to ensure the maximum power point tracking. However, in order to have the desired performances, a robust controller is necessary. Through simulation results using MatLab/Simulink show that the performance of speed control then obtained by fuzzy logic depends variation of speed and load.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
