In this text, our work focuses on fuzzy linear systems where the number of rows and columns of the left correlation coefficient matrix are not equal. A method to handle a wider range of these systems is introduced by our selected more general definition of fuzzy values. Different expressions for the result are obtained based on generalized inverses for different types of the left-hand side expanded matrix. Finally, we verified our method with five cases where the fuzzy values were defined in a more general range. These cases show that the method is simple and effective whether the equations are consistent or not.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
