Abstract:The paper describes the automation of process performance management in a particular company, using specially developed client application. Performance management process is based on an analysis of data from the process. The main problem, of analysis in real cases, is the low availability of data from the process and the impossibility of obtaining the analysis results in real time. A detailed specification of business requirements related to performance management in the organization is presented as well as the way of application of WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) services, the concept of business intelligence, methodology for data warehousing DW (Data Warehousing), and application of Silverlight technology for solving this problem. In particular, it shows the implementation of Silverlight client application for processes performance management within the company.
This paper presents the basic ideas for programming the maintenance of complex technical systems, which is a set of rules for determining the diagnostic mode of the constituent parts of the system in the actual exploitation process and decision making regarding the need for their replacement or on the extent of the necessary maintenance based on the information of the actual technical condition of the system. Assuming that the condition based maintenance is, in fact, the management system of the technical state of the system in the exploitation process, upon choosing the strategy for the condition based maintenance we have performed an analysis of the applicability of formed variants of the maintenance programme and evaluated their efficiency by comparing them with basic indicators (for corrective and preventive maintenance). We have pointed out the importance of using the described maintenance programme to increase reliability level and decrease the stagnation of technical systems, which results in high efficiency, and thus increases the productivity of companies where the systems have been installed.
The first part of the paper is a systematic explanation of the process of defining the most important parameters for generating optimal and efficient models of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) of the clothing industry, with the presentation of specific and adequate methods of research, i.e. with the evaluation of data for designing new models, and including previous research data. The following is an explanation of the final phase, i.e. a systematic and objective design assessment, through the implementation of preliminary results of exploitation studies of the modal experiment and computer simulation of the new model, based on which the criteria for efficient and optimal implementation of the CAD/CAM systems are defined.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
