Work engagement is a core indicator that reflects the quality of teachers’ occupational lives and the development of students, but few studies have explored the connection between strengths use and work engagement of teachers and the mechanisms underlying this relationship. This paper aimed to investigate how the relation of strengths use with work engagement is affected by a teacher’s satisfaction of basic psychological needs. For this purpose, 648 teachers in China completed questionnaires. The results revealed that strengths use exhibited a positive correlation with work engagement and needs satisfaction. Furthermore, autonomy, competence, and relatedness satisfaction mediated the effect of strengths use on work engagement for teachers. The results suggest that autonomy, competence, and relatedness satisfaction serve as factors that mediate the effect of strengths use on work engagement. The significance and limitations of the study are discussed.
From the psychological view, this paper analyzes the factors that affect the continued participation of virtual community combined with social cognition theory. Method/process: this study builds a conceptual model and Design a questionnaire about the virtual community users' continued participation intention, and used SPSS 17.0 and Amos 18.0 to analyze the collected data. Result/conclusion: results show that self-efficacy, community climate and outcome expectation have significant positive effects on continued consume; community climate and outcome expectation have significant positive effects on continued contribution; self-efficacy has no significant positive influence on continued contribution. The results can provide theoretical guidance for designing virtual community platform, and improve members' continued participation.
Recently, the development of sharing economy had a significant impact on human life and national economy. This paper took 480 literatures in the CNKI database from 2013-2019 with themes or topics related to the sharing economy, analyzed the hot issues and evolution path of China's sharing economy by CiteSpace. The results showed that the research are focused on sharing economy, collaborative consumption, business model, shared development, collaborative governance, government regulation, operation model and resource allocation. "Sharing economy" is the hot spot of the concerns. The future research should focused on the mechanism of sharing economy impacts on traditional industries, the change of behavior of sharing economy participants and the macro structure of sharing economy.
Background Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) are formed by the aggregation of tumour-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), which is driven by chemokines or cytokines in the tumour microenvironment. Studies have shown that TLSs are associated with good prognosis in patients with various solid tumours and can improve patient responses to immunotherapy. However, the role of TLSs in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains controversial, and the underlying molecular mechanism is unclear. Methods According to haematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining results, 150 HCC patients from Xijing Hospital were divided into TLS + and TLS- groups, and Kaplan–Meier (K-M) analysis was performed to assess their overall survival (OS) and recurrence-free survival (RFS). Spearman correlation analysis was used to calculate the correlation between LCK and TILs, and the molecular pathways of LCK regulating immunotherapy were clarified through enrichment analysis. Immune score was calculated based on the expression difference of LCK to evaluate the sensitivity of HCC patients to ICIs. Results The HE results showed that 61 (40.7%) of 150 HCC patients had TLSs, and 89 (59.3%) didn't. The K-M results showed that TLSs had no effect on the OS of HCC patients but significantly affected the RFS. Enrichment analysis showed that upregulation of LCK expression mainly regulated cytokine signalling pathway, the chemokine signalling pathway and T cell activation. Immune score showed that HCC patients with high expression of LCK had higher sensitivity to ICIs. Conclusion LCK may regulate the sensitivity of HCC patients to ICIs by affecting the related pathways of TLSs formation to improve the prognosis of patients.
Background: Online health communities (OHCs) provide a new channel for users to obtain more health-related information and support, playing an important role in alleviating hospital congestion and uneven medical resource distribution, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic in China. An in-depth study of users’ continuous usage is of great value for the long-term development of OHCs. Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the factors that influence users’ continuous usage in online health communities based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB) and social cognitive theory (SCT). Methods: Data from 480 users with experience in online health communities were collected through a questionnaire survey, and structural equations were applied to verify the model hypotheses empirically. Results: Self-efficacy and controllability have significant effects on users’ continuous intention; attitude has a significant relationship with continuous intention; social norms have a positive effect on continuous intention. Moreover, the relationship between continuous intention and behavior is positive. Self-efficacy and outcome expectations have significant positive associations with continuous usage. Finally, system quality, information quality, and social interaction ties have significant and positive relationships to continuous usage. Conclusion: To improve the level of user’s continuous usage, online health service providers can improve the quality of the community by organizing the website’s page layout, navigation menus, and site elements to ensure users quickly search and find what they want meanwhile try to change people’s cognition gradually, in addition, decision and policymakers should provide more favorable policies to stimulate and help provider in building and managing strategic plans for sustaining a thriving online community. A supportive climate in society through public service advertisements and others for the sake of OHCs is necessary. Limitations: (1) This study collected data through a cross-sectional survey. Thus, it lacked the process of capturing the changes in participants’ attitudes toward all variables. (2) The environmental factors in SCT theory need to be more comprehensive, containing online factors without offline factors. (3) The dates were obtained from China, which neglects the different cultural content.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
