In this paper ABS parts plus acrylonitrile monomer were prepared using melt blending method by twin-screw extruder, and the influence of soaking temperature, concentration of acrylonitrile monomer, ABS copolymer composition on the short-term migration of residual acrylonitrile monomer into pure water was studied, and the long-term migration behavior and diffusion coefficient were also further characterized.
Melamine formaldehyde resin was synthetized and mixed with different concentrations of cellulose to obtain moulding compounds, and finally molded into melamine resin tableware. The influences of several factors like cellulose content, molding temperature, molding time, soaking medium and soaking time on the migration of residual melamine monomer and the surface morphology change were studied
The composites of polypropylene (PP) and wasted PET fabric (WF) were prepared by extrusion blending and injection molding, and then, the interface of the composites was modified by two different types of compatibilizers, i.e., maleic anhydride grafted PP (PP-g-MA) and the mixture of methyl methacrylate (MMA) and styrene (St). The mechanical properties, morphology and thermal stability of these composites were studied.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
