Taeniid tapeworm Echinococcus granulosus is the causative agent of Echinococcosis, an important zoonosis with worldwide distribution. In this study, a diagnostic antigen P-29 was cloned from E. granulosus and expressed in Escherichia coli. Sequence analysis showed that EgP-29 contains 717-bp open reading frame and encodes a protein of 238 amino acid residues with a predicted molecular weight of 27.1 kDa. The recombinant EgP-29 (rEgP-29) could be recognized with antimice sera in Western blotting. The specific antibody was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Mice vaccinated with rEgP-29 and challenged intraperitoneally with E. granulosus protoscoleces revealed significant protective immunity of 96.6% (P<0.05), compared with the control group. Thus, rEgP-29 protein is a promising candidate for an effective vaccine to prevent secondary echinococcosis.

rEg.myophilin showed a effectively protective immunity, which may attribute to: (1) IgGs and IgE-mediated humoral immune response, as well as cell-mediated immunity which was marked by IFN-γ. (2) IL-4 assists to stimulate type transformation of IgE which plays an important role in Eosinophils-related anti-parasite immunity. (3) Immunosuppressive effect (marked by IL-10), the key obstacle to clean of parasites in the patient, was inhibited in the rEg.myophilin group compared with control groups.

Ferritin is well known as the main intracellular iron storage protein in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes, keeping it in a soluble and non-toxic form, though the role of ferritin as a vaccine candidate in echinococcosis has not yet been delineated. Through our study, ferritin was cloned from Echinococcus granulosus and expressed in Escherichia coli. The recombinant E. granulosus ferritin (rEgferritin) has a molecular weight of 19 kDa and could be recognized by anti-mice serum in Western blotting. The specific antibody was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Mice vaccinated with rEgferritin and challenged intraperitoneally with E. granulosus protoscoleces revealed significant protective efficacy up to 85.6%, compared with the control group. Thus, rEgferritin could be a promising candidate as an effective vaccine to prevent the infection of echinococcosis.

In order to enhance the acoustic stealth performance of the underwater vehicle, we combine the resonance sound absorption and vibration suppression performance of the sound-absorption coating and the low frequency sound insulation performance of the local resonance membrane material, a new type of isolating-sound and decoupled tile with low-frequency sound insulation, sound absorption and vibration suppression performance is designed, and an acoustic enclosure composed of isolating-sound and decoupled tile is established. Research shows: the isolating-sound and decoupled tile cell has good sub-wavelength sound insulation ability, and the average sound insulation in the 100-1000Hz frequency band is 47dB. The acoustic enclosure composed of it can effectively isolate the reverberation sound field in the enclosure. Compared with the acoustic enclosure composed of Alberich sound-absorption coating, the average sound insulation has been increased by about 19dB.
