A storage area network deployment within a global communications company is presented. The new storage-centric infrastructure includes an open, modular and scalable storage network, not tied to any one server or application. A leading provider of telecommunication solutions was looking to move ahead quickly with SAN technology to achieve early and sustainable competitive advantage by leveraging its in formation resources.

Abstract-The axial light distributions in parallel-plate dc microdischarges in argon show similar behavior to large scale discharges. Between the low-current Townsend mode and the high current glow mode exists a large region of currents where different oscillations appear and the dynamic Volt-Ampere characteristic shows hysteresis behavior. During the oscillations the maximum peak intensity moves closer to the cathode, which is characteristic for the abnormal glow regime even though the average current is considerably smaller.

Abstract:The paper discusses theoretical and practical aspects of calculating impairment of receivables in relation to the reality of financial reporting. The aim is to investigate the practice of calculating impaired receivables of the legal persons in the Republic of Serbia, with the aim to identify any failure (irregularities) that may affect the quality of financial reporting. Many business entities have a large number of individual small buyers. The research herein conducted reveals that very few legal persons who determine impairment of receivables claim in the proper way, by treating a large number of individual small buyers as one portfolio. In this sense, we believe that the content of the paper and conclusions arising from it would encourage accountants to change the way of calculating impairment of receivables.
