The agricultural sector occupies a strategic position compared with other sectors. It is evident from its role in employment and contribution to gross domestic product. Tiwul has high economic value because of its relatively high nutrient content. Therefore, the advantage of Tiwul as a substitute for rice can be socialized (Subahar, 2004). The purpose of this study was to analyze strategy of marketing and instant Tiwul added value development in Wonosari District, Pekalongan, of East Lampung regency. The method used in this research was SWOT analysis and added value analysis. Respondents were selected intentionally (purposive) in Wonosari Pekalongan District of East Lampung regency with a sample of 20 respondents composed of 10 producers and 10 traders in addition to direcly observe the added value of instant Tiwul by conducting interviews with KWT Tani home industry. The results of this study indicated that the strategies used to improve the marketing of instant Tiwul in Wonosari District of East Lampung regency Pekalongan showed coordinates of (0.34 ;-0.50) in which the coordinates entered quadrant II, that although facing a variety of threats, the company still has iternal strength. The strategy that should be applied is to take advantage of long-term opportunities by way of diversification strategy (product / market). Instant Tiwul marketing in Wonosari District of Pekalongan has the strength in term of Tiwul production quality and increasing amount of production, which can be used to counter the threat. Added value for producers of instant Tiwul per production in East Lampung district is Rp 9450.00.
Animal husbandry plays a strategic role in the development of the agricultural sector which aims to meet the needs of animal protein, empower the economic community, and to trigger regional development. Therefore, it is necessary to increase productivity which has an impact on increasing income. Income is used to assess the success of a business and determine the success of a farming business. The objective of this study was to determine the income differences between partner cattle farmers and non-partner cattle farmers. The research method was a survey method carried out in Astomulyo Village, Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. The samples of this research were 54 partner farmers and 10 non-partner farmers. The analysis methods used were income analysis, R / C ratio and t test analysis. The results showed that the total income of partner farmers was Rp.28,490,166.67. It was Rp12,755,066.7 lower than non-partner farmers which was Rp.41,245,233.33. From the income analysis, it was found that the ratio of farmer income to the total cost of non-partner farmers was 1.26 and partner farmers with a value of 1.15. Statistically, there is no significant difference between the selling price of partner and non-partner cattle farmers. Keywords: Partnership, Comparative, Income, Farmer, Rearing, Cattle
Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis bsarnya biaya transaksi pada sistem agribisnis ubi kayu dan menganalisis pengaruh biaya transaksi terhadap pendapatan ubi kayu di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Tempat penelitian di Kecamatan Rumbia Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan metode survei kepada 141 petani ubi kayu di Kecamatan Rumbia Kabupaten Lampung Tengah yang diambil secara purposive. Analisis menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif pada Transaction Cost (TrC); Analisis pendapatan; dan Analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian (1) biaya transaksi pada sistem agribisnis ubi kayu Rp. 732.725,17/ha/petani/musim (2) pendapatan usahatani ubi kayu sebesar Rp. 10.666.036,03/ha yang artinya usahatani ubi kayu layak untuk terus dikembangkan di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah dan biaya transaksi berpengaruh nyata terhadap pendapatan usahatani ubi kayu
