The paper presents the research results of Kondratieff cycles in the economy
of Denmark based on the real per capita GDP dynamics over the period of 1820–
2008. The use of economic and mathematical modeling allowed to define the
chronological frameworks of the third, the fourth and the fifth waves of economic
cycles with the 50-years period.
The article presents the research results of Kondratieff cycles in the economy of Finland on the basis of real GDP per capita over the period of 1860–2008 years. The using of economic and mathematical modeling has allowed estimating the power of long duration business cycles, revealing the chronological framework of long waves: the third, fourth and fifth. Kondratieff’s theory has served as a methodological basis for the study of processes: the emergence, the domination and the withering away of technological structures. Regression analysis has allowed establishing the productivity of different technological structures in the Finnish economy.
Logical and convenient methods of economic theory often remain unclaimed in
the area of management accounting and analysis. For example an obstacle to
the use of marginal revenue and marginal cost comparison method may be
difficulties associated with the assembly of these indicators’ equations. This
paper contains an example of using regression analysis for separation the cost
related to constant and variable components, for assembly of marginal data
equations in order to determine the optimum volume of output.
The article presents the results of studies of the formation and development of
Kondratiev waves in the economy of Belgium. The data of the real GDP per
capita for the period from 1846 to 2008 is used in article. Economicmathematical
modeling revealed Kondratieff cycle stages of formation in the
economy of Belgium.
The quality of education in accordance with the main provisions of economic science is assessed by the profitability of human capital formed in the education system. For evaluation of the quality of higher education, the value of remuneration for graduates of higher educational institutions is used. In the remuneration of graduates, the influence of the wage level in the region is eliminated. The highest quality of education is in the Tver, Moscow, Tula Region. Low quality of education is in Orel, Bryansk and Kostroma Regions and in Moscow. The simplest quality of education can be the ratio of remuneration of graduates to the average salary in the regions. The use of this evaluation shows that high quality of education provides by Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation, Tula State University, Oryol State Agricultural University, Belgorod State Agricultural University, Bryansk State Technical University, Vladimir State University, Voronezh State Technical University. The best quality of education among pedagogical higher education institutions provides the Tula State Pedagogical University.
