The features of the process performed with root cutter and plant lifter, as well as the forces acting on their working bodies are examined. It was established that resistance to the root cutting increases with an increase in their number and diameter, but also depends on their mechanical strength. The studies obtained dependences of forces acting on the working bodies in accordance with their geometric parameters and specific application of technological process that can be used in the development of root cutters and plant lifters.
The article presents the results of analytical studies of the process of destruction of soil layer wicomoco dishwasher with active working bodies in the form of beat and otmahivala for digging planting material in forest nurseries. The proposed formula for determining the maximum bending moment arising from the destruction of soil formation. Considered a condition that guaranteed the destruction of the formation of soil, and given a formula to determine the maxi-mum bending stresses, taking into account geometric and kinematische parameters of working bodies.

The results of analyzes of the work process of the rotary tillage machine for further processing of the soil in forest nurseries are presented in the article. The features of the process performed by the rotary engine, as well as the forces acting on the working bodies are considered. The analysis of the geometric parameters of working bodies and their operation modes are given. The conditions required for stable operation of rotary tillage machines and good quality soil loosening is defined. It is noted that the results obtained are used in the development of rotary machine, driveless МРБ-1.6, intended for seedbed preparation of soil in forest nurseries are presented, which has successfully passed acceptance tests and was put into mass production.
The result of studies of the influence of seeds sorting of softwood species on their crop quality showed that each size fraction of heavy and average mass meet the requirements i.e. the energy of their germination and sprouting. They should also be used for sowing both in growing large-sized seedlings without prescrivere, and in the production of seeding with closed root sys-tem. It was also found that the light seeds of all size fractions have lower energy of sprouting and lower ground germination capacity that do not meet quality requirements and are not condi-tioned. These seeds are not good for sowing.
