This journal isNon-catalytic conversion of 4-oxoalkane-1,1,2,2-tetracarbonitriles in presence of water leads to the formation of mixture of fluorescent 4-cyano-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3-carboxamides and 2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3,4-dicarbonitriles in equal proportions. This transformation was explained and spectral-luminescent properties were investigated, fluorescence quantum yield was measured.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
