In the light of new information, environmental, educational and production conditions, the problem of creating a health-promoting environment in a technical university appears to be rather important and needs to be studied in detail. The research aims to develop, justify and experimentally verify pedagogical conditions for forming competency in health promotion in technical students using physical education. The experiment involved two groups of students (Years 1-4): 241 individuals in the experimental group (EG) and 237 individuals in the control group (CG). Research methods include pedagogical observations, surveys, tests, self-evaluation, expert evaluation of students? practical skills, analysis of personal valeological and sport diaries of students; modelling in the framework of ascertaining and formative stages of the experiment; quantitative analysis of empirical data and its quality presentation; statistical verification of the proposed pedagogical conditions and the research hypothesis, the use of relevant tests (the Ruffier-Dickson index, the Cooper test) and quantitative indicators (Student?s t-test) in order to obtain some objective data on the results from the implementation of the author?s model. At the end of the experiment, most respondents (80 %) in the EG have reached a high level of competency in health promotion using physical education. In the CG, the differences in levels have not shown any significant changes since only 32.5% of respondents have a high level. Therefore, the results of the pedagogical experiment show some positive dynamics and confirm the effectiveness of the designed model and technology for forming competency in health promotion in technical students using physical education, which has made it possible to create qualitatively new conditions of the educational process and enhance students? motivation towards developing and realizing values in this field.
The adolescents aged between 15 and 17 with postural disorders in the sagittal plane, who live in mountainous regions in the Carpathians, achieve less than their peers with similar postural disorders, who live in plain regions. The research aims to develop the comprehensive programme for correcting postural disorders in the sagittal plane among pupils, who live in mountainous regions in the Carpathians, using physical rehabilitation, and establish the links between empirical data of the experiment and neurosciences to develop methods of complex psychophysical and neurophysiological diagnostic and rehabilitation of adolescents with such disorders in further research. The research is based on a detailed observation of 319 adolescents aged between 15 and 17 from mountainous regions of the Ukrainian Carpathians and 94 pupils from plain regions with postural disorders in the sagittal plane. The research methods are the following: an analysis of the scientific and specialized literature; surveys and questionnaires; pedagogical tests; methods for determining the indicators of physical development, functional readiness and functions of the spine; methods of mathematical statistics, namely, the Ruffier-Dickson test, Otto test, Schober test, Thomayer test, Fleischmann test, Sedin test and spinal index, inclinometer measurements. The pupils who suffer from the stoop and round spine have shown a decrease in average values in the angles of lordosis and kyphosis curves; pupils who suffer from flat back – an increase in the angles of the sacral bone, lordosis and kyphosis curves; pupils who suffer from the round and concave back – a decrease in the angles of the sacral bone, lordosis and kyphosis curves. The implementation of the author’s programme for physical rehabilitation has made it possible to achieve a statistically significant improvement in most of the analyzed indicators. Finally, the article extrapolates the results of the experiment to their neurophysiological and neuromedical application in terms of enhancing anamnesis and taking into account post-correction data in subsequent medical treatment.
Background. The aim of the study was the evaluation of the structural and functional reorganization of the heart and their relationship with physical activity in elite football players. Material and methods.Characteristics of the myocardium and physical activity were studied using the Catapult Vector S7 GPS-sport telemetry system, "Polar" heart rate monitor, and echocardioscope.
According to the Results of Theoretical and Empirical Research, today the urgency of forming the Readiness of Specialists in Physical Education and Sports to use the Technique of Kinesiological Taping in Professional activities. This will accelerate the recovery Process of athletes at the stage of their Physical Therapy, as well as ensure Successful Competitive activities. The Main Purpose of Scientific Research is to determine the Criteria, Indicators and Levels of Readiness of Specialists in Physical Education and Sports to use the Technique of Kinesiological Taping in Professional activities (on the Example of coaches who Specialize in Martial Arts). During the Research and Analytical work, the following Methods of Theoretical Research were used: axiomatic, idealization, formalization, historical and logical, convergence from the concrete, and so on. As a Result of Theoretical Research, members of the Research Group defined "Criteria" (motivational, semantic, analytical and evaluative), corresponding applied "Indicators", "Approaches" (activity, personality-oriented, complex, systemic, structural) and "Levels" (high, sufficient, satisfactory) Formation of Readiness of Specialists of Physical Education and Sports to use the Technique of Kinesiological Taping in Professional activity.
The article describes the conditions, forms, and methods of optimizing research activities of future social workers in the Ukrainian society in unstable times. It aimsto offer a methodical model to develop research skills in future social workers and experimentally verify the system of training them for research activities. The research hypothesis is that one can discover more effective forms and methods of research activities due to the reasonable changes in educational conditions and the consideration of current trends in social work, which will lead to qualitative and quantitative results. Research methods are theoretical (generalization, comparison, pedagogical modelling) and practical (diagnostics, formation). The formative stage of the research provided a logical sequence of three stages: initial (1-2 courses); basic (3-4 courses); professional (1-2 courses of master's level). Experimental diagnostics involved the use of standardized methods, questionnaires, tests, expert evaluation. The total number of EG students was 118 people, the total number of CG students -121. The analysis of the results shows that at the end of the experiment the level of readiness of future social workers for R&D in the experimental sample is much higher than in the control. The number of students with a high level of readiness for R&D in the experimental sample increased by 16.9% and is 24.6% (in the control sample this figure is 13.2%). The effectiveness of the developed system of professional training of future social workers for R&D is ensured by the implementation of certain pedagogical conditions: the formation of motivation for R&D involvement of first-year students; providing research content of disciplines of fundamental, professional and practical training of social workers; use of differentiated learning technology in the process of research training of masters of social work; use of ICT (information and communication technologies).
