Feasibility of establishing a virtual furniture design offices (VFDO) is analyzed, whose task is to develop within the prescribed period of complex design solutions, fully describing the process of manufacturing and production technology of furniture products for client enterprises. We consider the logical structure of VFDO presented in the form of a multi-agent network model (MANM), and the mechanisms of formation and functioning of the unified of controlled work environment of design. A number of advantages is marked over other types of MANM models of the design process of furniture.

The advantages of using light CAD system in the production of furniture are investigated. They allow providing rapid product develop-ment, as well as carrying out all necessary engineering calculations. In addition, it is possible efficiently and as quickly as possible to prepare the product for production. The basic stages of informational support through the product life cycle with reference to automated systems are described. There are the advantages of the use of transparent information to support the product in the conditions of order manufacturing.

Reducing of the rate of the world economy growth in the period 2007-2008 had clearly reflected on the working of the world forest sector. Along with the new macroeconomic conditions, the emergence of new trends and markets associated with the development of the information technology and using of the re-newable energy sources had an impact on the composition and structure of the forest products markets, and, consequently, the production structure of the world forest sector. In general, today there is a situation of saturation on the commercial timber market and in the medium term a slow growth with increasing competition between suppliers of raw wood can be forecasted in the world logging sector.

The article shows that multi-level network cooperation can be an effective tool for organizing import substitution industries in the Russian Federation under international sanctions, but its use prevents the lack of scientific and methodological support of its application. It is shown that the existing methodological apparatus designed for single-level outsourcing can not be moved in case of multi-level cooperation because of the fundamental differences between these types of networking. A list of these differences is given. An algorithm for choosing the optimal organizational form, based on the criterion of minimum total costs (which are the sum of investment, management and operating costs) is presented.

We consider the logical structure of the technological design process (TDP) running in multi-agent medium of virtual design office of furniture (DOF) provided by a set of design procedures, each of which, in its turn, includes a number of project activities related to each other. There is formalized presentation of TDP as Metagraphy. Such formalized presentation provides opportunities to simplify the process control with dynamic structure and allow enterprises to obtain required level of detail of their structure when modeling a particular design problem.
