The present study aims TO explore the effectiveness of employing the augmented reality in improving the skills of Standard Database Language (SQL) among students of the third year, department of computer teacher, Faculty of Specific Education, Minia University (2021/ 2022). To achieve the study goals, the author adopted both the descriptive and experimental approaches. The study group included 27 male and female students. The two measurement tools were: a test of the cognitive aspects of the basic skills of the standard database language SQL, and a database evaluation card produced by the participants. The achievement test was applied before and after learning, but the evaluation card was applied only after learning. Results showed the effectiveness of the augmented reality program in enhancing cognitive achievement. Moreover, the results showed a huge impact on the performance aspects of the fundamental skills of SQL.
