Results: Seventy-two patients (92.3 ) were negative (Cy0) and six patients (7.7 ) were positive (Cy1). There was no significant difference between Cy0 patients and Cy1 patients in clinicopathological factors. Peritoneal recurrence rate of Cy1 patients was significantly higher than that of Cy0 patients, but overall recurrence rate was not significantly different.Cy1 patients did not have a significantly lower disease-free survival rate or overall survival rate than Cy0 patients. Conclusion: Cy1 is not a useful prognostic factor, but a predictive factor of peritoneal recurrence. It may be helpful in making clinical decisions.
