With the new discovery of the world's largest tungsten deposit (the Zhuxi tungsten-copper polymetallic deposit) in the Taqian-Fuchun mineralization concentration area, it has attracted great attention in the industry peers. On the basis of the previous research and latest exploring results, this paper makes a systematical summary and discussion on the regional ore-forming geological conditions, ore deposit types and mineralization regularity, tectonic-magmatic-mineralization. The results showed that this area has experienced multi-phase tectonic-magmatic activities since Jinningian, tungsten-copper polymetallic deposit closely related with Yanshanian tectonic-magmatic activities. The deposit types are mainly skarn type, porphyry (altered granite) type and vein (fracture zone) type. It presents belt distribution in northeast and cluster distribution in northwest. The regional northeast Nappe structure controls deposit distribution, while thrust nappe structure, unconformable contact structure, intrusive contact structure, tension structure, interlayer fracture and broken zone structure directly control the formation of deposit and spatial location of ore bodies.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
